# CLAUDE.md - Development Instructions This file provides guidance for Claude Code when working with the Smallpox Eradication Campaign visualization. ## Project Overview This is an interactive Mapbox globe visualization that documents the 30-year campaign (1950-1980) to eradicate smallpox—the first and only human disease ever completely eliminated.
